| The Brisbane River Floods that occured in January 2011 were devastating to so many people. Some people lost their homes and others lost their lives. |

| The City Cat and City Ferry service was down for 1 month after the floods. On February 12, 2011 they had a "Ferry Parade" to celebrate the return of service. |
